A Music Class for Growing Independence

Around age three, children are becoming more independent and ready to participate in activities with other children. Orffie Scholars gives them space to explore music, follow simple routines and take part in group activities without a parent in the classroom.

Children sing, move, play simple rhythms and explore classroom instruments while developing their listening and musical awareness.

For Parents

Scholars is an independent class, so parents do not participate in the lesson. Parents can wait in the studio’s waiting area and observe through the classroom. Children develop at different rates, and teachers provide encouragement as they become familiar with the class, routine and group.
